FOOD PATHWAY

THE CAMERA CAPSULE
We view a short film on how Digestive System works and they used a Camera Capsule or Also known as the Capsule Endoscopy. They experimented this boy named Cornel Bunz to try the Capsule Endoscopy and he didn't aet for two days. Capsule endoscopy helps doctors see inside your small intestine, an area that isn't easily reached with more-traditional endoscopy procedures. Cornel was so excited and nervous on swallowing the camera capsule, he thought that maybe it would stuck in his stomach forever. As the capsule travels through his digestive tract, the camera takes thousands of pictures that are transmitted to a recorder he wear like a belt around his waist. As he swallow the camera capsule they view it's journey to Cornel's Digestive System.

So the camera capsule start's its journey to the esophagus and continues along the wall of the stomach  and the rest of the gastrointestinal tract. This initially results in the production of chyme when fully broken down in the small intestine and absorbed as chyle into the lymphatic system. Most of the digestion of food takes place in the small intestine. Water and some minerals are reabsorbed back into the blood, in the colon of the large intestine. The waste products of digestion are defacated from the anus by the the rectum.
